The Houston Bicycle Museum announces the launch of a market that will operate on the first Saturday of each month on its grounds in the heart of the museum and hospital district on Binz. The market, which opens August 6th, will feature vendors representing coffees, snacks, breads, soaps and skin potions, art, clothing items, handmade goods and more. The goal of the First Saturday Market is to support the operations of the museum while promoting a sense of community built around cycling and the arts.

The Houston Bicycle Museum is a 501©3 nonprofit, founded in 2014 by Joy Boone, owner of Boone’s Cycles. The museum is dedicated to exhibiting collections of antique and classic bicycles and cycling related memorabilia from the mid 1890’s through the most sophisticated bicycles of today. The First Saturday Market helps support the operation of the Houston Bicycle Museum.
